Space/Time (2015)

Using body to experience time and space, time is non-stop but keep moving, breath is a natural cycle but a repeated action. In this piece, I forced confrontation with time itself when I stopped breathing and tried to transcend the limit of breath holding. At the same time, I could felt inside/outside space between my lung and the environment. When inhale, the air come into my lung and stay in the body space, after exhaling, it move to the outside space. Keep breathing also means to continue experiencing time, over and over again. I recorded the sound of this experimental procession and counted the passing of time, in that moment I can truly felt alive and realised how time flows.
